Research at Iowa State University
Iowa State University's mission is to create, share and apply knowledge to make Iowa and the world a better place. And so researchers across campus are studying biorenewable fuels, economics, animal vaccines, supercomputers, human nutrition, rural issues, environmentally sound design, new cropping systems, entrepreneurship and much, much more. The university's comprehensive research program is how Iowa State is putting science and technology to work.
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (VPR/ED) is the administrative home for Iowa State's research mission. The office serves researchers in nearly 100 centers and institutes and 55 academic departments. Government, non-profit, and industry partners are always welcome, especially in our efforts to promote economic development! To learn more, use the links at the left.
