Application Form

The Vice President for Research and Economic Development (VPR/ED) may provide funds to assist faculty in retaining grant-funded graduate students and other essential grant-funded personnel during short periods between extramural grants. The availability of these funds depends on the budget situation.

Funds requested from the VPR/ED should not exceed 40% of the total from all ISU sources. All other ISU commitments must be secured prior to submitting a request to the VPR/ED office.

Faculty members should apply using the form above. Documentation must be provided on the applicant’s history of extramural funding, information on what has occurred to cause a delay in funding, and what efforts are underway to seek continued funding. Indicate all commitments from other ISU units.
