Grantsmanship Support
Application Form
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (VPR/ED) may provide funds to promote grantsmanship through workshops, seminars, individual grant consulting, visits to funding agencies and visits by federal agency program directors. The availability of these funds depends on the budget situation.
The VPR/ED may provide up to 40% of the funding required for workshops and seminars. Contributions for other grantsmanship activities depend on the scope of the activity and opportunities for subsequent funding.
Faculty and other personnel with approved PI status at ISU may apply using the form above. Documentation should be provided of the benefit that will likely accrue to the PI and the university as a result of the proposed grantsmanship activities. Indicate any cost-sharing commitments from other ISU units.
Note: Faculty new to ISU (last five years) should check the VPR/ED web site to determine the current availability of “Research Grant Development Awards for New Faculty”.
