The Research Council serves as an advisory group to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development on issues related to research at ISU. It makes recommendations to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development in regard to research policy, it serves as a review panel for internal grants, and it serves as the liaison to respective colleges and units.
